In the final days of the campaign for same sex marriage, both sides are speaking from the heart, with little restraint. If anyone doubts that the controversy over homosexual marriage is a spiritual battle, they should see what a prominent gay rights activist has to say about a recent press conference in the State House. Jesus said we should pray for those who revile and despitefully use us, so we encourage all our readers to pray earnestly for this blogger.
On the other side, an anonymous online poster has produced a remarkable series of short videos under the name "VoteYesOn1Maine." The videos are a bit different from what we have seen so far in the campaign, in that they contain a stern warning about God's wrath on nations which endorse homosexual marriage. Of particular interest is a video which shows the aftermath of a 'miraculous' tornado which struck a church in Minneapolis minutes after church leaders voted to approve of homosexual clergy. The anonymous online poster also posted a video of three angelic supporters of traditional marriage singing "Yes Lord to Your Will." In addition, the videos document the destruction of 'Yes on 1' campaign signs throughout the state. Whoever produced these videos in the final days before the vote is certainly showing initiative and courage.
