A recent item in The RECORD made the astonishing claim that if the public did not fight back against the homosexual rights movement, traditional marriage would eventually be portrayed as abnormal. The RECORD lists the following terms as proof that a campaign is now underway to stigmatize traditional marriage. Among the new terms are "Opposite Sex Marriage" meaning a marriage between a man and a woman; "Hetero" a disparaging word for men and women who are not homosexuals; and the most offensive term of all "Breeders," a term of abuse meant to call attention to the ability of "Heteros" in "Opposite Sex Marriages" to produce children. The staff of The RECORD has heard of a recent case in which a couple was accosted by a group of homosexuals who shouted "Breeders!" in a mocking tone as the couple passed by.
Clearly, there is an anti-family, anti-religious aspect to the homosexual rights movement which must be acknowledged and confronted by the public at large, for
the good of the public at large. The MFPC is aware of a convicted felon who attended the recent hearing on same sex marriage, who earlier had assaulted an underage partner with a deadly weapon. In a more notorious case, one of the speakers on behalf of same sex marriage at the hearing allegedly shot and killed an acquaintance in the presence of his homosexual "spouse" during a game of Russian Roulette four days before the hearing. The young victim was allegedly left to die in the cellar of the same sex marriage spokesman. At the hearing, the shooter stood with his "spouse" at the speaker's podium and said, "We are married in the eyes of God," and then went on to complain about his inability to get health insurance.
Later in the hearing, same sex marriage supporters cheered wildly when a speaker stated that his marriage was ruined by his wife's lesbian affair. Clearly, not all aspects of the homosexual subculture are as healthy as an episode of Ozzie and Harriet.
Although we are called as Christians to show compassion and love for the sinner; it does no one any good - the sinner included - to gloss over the obvious truths about the homosexual subculture.
